Salary Range: $58,000-$65,000

Job Overview
CFS has partnered with a mission-driven organization in seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day AP operations within a growing finance team. This role works closely with accounting leadership and plays a key part in maintaining strong vendor relationships, accurate financial records, and efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including weekly payment runs
• Review and code invoices and expenses accurately in the general ledger
• Prepare month-end accruals and support monthly close
• Maintain AP files and vendor records; set up new vendors
• Handle credit card expense reporting and related journal entries
• Process rent and utility payments; track and reconcile utility accounts
• Support budgeting, audits, 1099 processing, and special projects
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes

Qualifications

• 1+ year of full-cycle AP experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or +4 years of related field experience
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow projects through completion
