Senior Accountant

Location: Boston – Financial District (hybrid)
Salary Range: $90,000–$120,000

What You’ll Do

As the Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and supporting the month‑end and year‑end close process:

  • Review and approve accounting work related to monthly and annual close
  • Oversee and ensure accuracy of:
    • Accounts payable invoices
    • General ledger journal entries
  • Perform and review bank reconciliations
  • Support and manage city and state tax filings
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal accounting policies and controls
  • Partner with team members to improve processes and support overall financial integrity
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Background in professional services is a plus, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review work critically
  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
