Responsibilities of the Senior Property Accountant:
• Manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close for assigned properties
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile CAM charges, billbacks, and lease escalations
• Analyze financial results and investigate budget-to-actual variances
• Coordinate with third-party property managers and assist with financial reporting
• Support audits, special projects, and process improvement initiatives
Requirements of the Senior Property Accountant:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, within real estate or property accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
