Revenue Accounting Manager (Boston 125-150K base + bonus)
We’re partnering with a fast-growing global consulting organization operating at the intersection of economics, technology, and strategy. The firm advises leading companies, Fortune 100 organizations, law firms, and government entities on complex business and regulatory challenges across rapidly evolving industries.
As the business continues to scale internationally, they are seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to join their Finance team and take ownership of a critical, high‑visibility function.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accounting professional who thrives in complex, multi‑entity environments and enjoys building scalable revenue processes in a high‑growth setting.
What you’ll do:- Own the monthly revenue close process
- Lead ASC 606 revenue recognition and contract review
- Manage deferred revenue, WIP, and intercompany accounting across global entities
- Partner closely with FP&A, Legal, Billing Operations, and external auditors
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities
- Build and improve revenue accounting processes, controls, and automation
- Drive accuracy and consistency across reporting in a complex international structure
- CPA required
- 5–8 years of accounting experience
- Strong expertise in ASC 606 and revenue recognition
- Experience reviewing complex customer contracts
- Big 4 or public accounting foundation preferred
- Background in consulting, professional services, SaaS, or technology strongly preferred
- Experience in multi‑entity or international environments is a plus
- ERP experience (Net Suite preferred)
