We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of GAAP and at least one year of relevant accounting experience. This position will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month‑end close and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and other financial data.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Support preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain and organize accounting documentation for audits and compliance.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience applying GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
