  • Preparing and reconciling federal and state payroll tax deposits, quarterly and annual employer tax returns, and W-2 forms for international offices for management review
  • Supporting compliance with U.S. federal and state income tax, Social Security, and unemployment regulations, guided by internal policies and procedures
  • Researching, drafting, and preparing correspondence in response to inquiries and notices from the IRS and state taxing authorities
  • Using Excel-based models to calculate estimated U.S. tax rates for inbound and outbound employee transfers, and communicating results to international offices for tax withholding and gross‑up calculations
  • Reviewing non‑cash fringe benefits provided to international employees, determining U.S. tax treatment, evaluating gross‑up needs based on internal policy, and supporting accurate quarterly reporting and withholding
  • Preparing payroll journal entries related to tax deposits to support proper accounting and collection of employee with holdings and loans
  • Responding to international office employee payroll inquiries related to U.S. payroll issues, W-2 reporting details, and calculations
  • Maintaining proper documentation and ensuring transactions are processed in line with internal policies and procedures
  • Supporting additional duties and special projects as assigned, with regular check‑ins and progress reviews by supervisors or senior leaders

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and accounting systems
  • Excellent Excel and systems capabilities

Nice to have:
