Role Overview

  • Lead financial statement audits by understanding client operations, processes, objectives, and risks to enhance audit quality.
  • Collaborate with clients and engagement teams using modern audit technology to drive efficient, high-quality audit execution.
  • Grow through mentorship, training, and team-based collaboration while delivering excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and complete audits while managing scope, timelines, and budgets, serving as in-charge when needed.
  • Supervise and train associates and interns, provide regular feedback, and support performance assessments.
  • Communicate clearly with clients about expectations and relevant accounting, financial, and regulatory developments.
  • Design audit procedures leveraging audit technology and innovation tools; research accounting and auditing matters and document conclusions.
  • Work flexibly at client sites, in-office, or remotely while maintaining strong coordination and documentation.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships and represent the firm at recruiting and professional networking events.
  • Participate in formal training programs to enhance technical and professional skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned while upholding professional standards and confidentiality.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum two years of progressive public accounting experience with in-charge auditing responsibilities.
  • CPA certification or eligibility meeting the state's education requirements.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards, with strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities.
  • Ability to travel up to 25 percent as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supervising teams and providing on-the-job coaching.
  • Exposure to audit automation and digitization tools in professional services.
