Senior Associate, Co-Invest Finance

Position Summary

Significant alignment with LPs has been one of the cornerstones of Audax’s strategy since the firm was founded. The Audax Co-Invest Finance Group is a team of 7 individuals responsible for the operational, accounting, tax, and reporting aspects of the co‑invest portfolio across all business units. This position is responsible for all elements of accounting, reporting, and administration for Audax Co-Invest and General Partnership funds, including daily, weekly, and quarterly accounting, management reporting, and financial statements.

• Accounting, reporting, and administration of Audax Co-Invest and General Partnership Funds, including quarterly financial statements, capital accounts, and weekly management reporting through Investran.
• Coordinate the year‑end audit process, serving as liaison with external auditors and ensuring timely resolution of audit requests.
• Review and analyze financial information for combined reporting, valuation support, and disclosure requirements.
• Draft and review financial statement footnotes, including investment valuation disclosures (ASC 820), fair value hierarchy analysis, and related party disclosures.
• Prepare and review NAV calculations and investor capital account statements.
• Partner closely with the Tax team to deliver accurate capital allocations supporting quarterly estimates and tax payment calculations.
• Review legal documents, including Limited Partnership Agreements, structure charts, and management services agreements.
• Coordinate with management company team for reconciliation of payables.
• Communicate with investors on a regular basis to provide documents related to capital activity, tax, compliance, and account statements.
• Work with investors to complete ad‑hoc reporting requests.
• Collaborate with the Business Solutions and FP&A teams to implement system solutions and efficiencies in accounting systems and recurring reporting requests; assist in testing and implementing reporting solutions and propose new initiatives as challenges arise.

• BS in Accounting with an advanced degree (CPA strongly preferred).
• 4‑7 years of professional experience, preferably including public accounting at an alternative investment asset manager.
• Understanding or experience with Private Equity or other alternative investment structures preferred.
• Experience with accounting software, Investran experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel user with a high level of attention‑to‑detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams to meet tight deadlines.
• Professional individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to effectively engage and lead a team and colleagues.

Location:

Boston, MA – 3 days/week in office. Base salary range: $100,000 – $130,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, and experience. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation.
