Position Summary
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. This role involves managing conducting audits, payroll data, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. This position follows a hybrid schedule, with three in-office days each week at our Boston Office.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for over 100 pay groups and 18,000 employees on a weekly, biweekly, and semi-monthly basis.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Configure, analyze, and run reports to support internal and external audits.
- Serve as a lead resource for questions received to the payroll team.
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve payroll-related issues and concerns.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems.
- Create process documentation for daily tasks and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare weekly and month‑end journal entries.
- Participate in system testing and validation activities.
- Research and resolve employee payroll discrepancies.
- Stay current on payroll best practices and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile taxes and wage payments to accounting records.
- Partner with properties to ensure funding is submitted and paid on time.
- Train local property payroll partners on payroll processes and system functionality.
- Process and distribute relevant documents submitted to the corporate office, including mail, email, and related correspondence.
- Process and maintain employee garnishments in ADP and Workday.
- Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience.
- Experience with Workday and ADP required.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
