Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Compensation: $60-$80/hour

Duration: Open-ended contract

An innovative, publicly traded software organization is seeking a Revenue Accounting Consultant to support its growing finance team. This is a hands‑on opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, partnering with leadership, and owning key aspects of the revenue accounting process.

• Perform hands‑on revenue accounting, analysis, and reconciliations
• Prepare daily and month‑end journal entries
• Support and oversee month‑end close activities related to revenue
• Maintain and update revenue models in Excel
• Perform revenue calculations and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Partner with finance leadership on revenue‑related projects and process improvements

• Strong background in revenue accounting
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles (ASC 606 experience)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial models
• Detail‑oriented with a hands‑on, collaborative approach
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
• Industry experience is flexible; life sciences or software experience is not required
