3-6 MONTHS - ONSITE POSITION - SHIFT - 8AM - 5PM.

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant is responsible for working closely with the Finance team to ensure a smooth, timely month‑end close process. This individual provides assistance with SOX compliance and is involved in the annual budgeting process.

Essential Functions
  • Performs and assists with month‑end and quarter‑end closing accounting tasks including preparation/input of journal entries ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
  • Ensures that reconciliations and supporting schedules and analysis are completed on a timely basis and in accordance with the monthly closing schedule.
  • Prepares and maintains month‑end closing shared folders.
  • Prepares and assists with month‑end analytical review of actuals versus budget/forecast.
  • Assists with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provides assistance with SOX compliance by ensuring internal controls are adhered to.
  • Provides assistance to Sr. Manager Financial Operations and Accounting on quarter‑end inventory close and various analyses.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
  • Minimum of four to six years of experience and solid understanding of GAAP. Experience in public accounting preferred.
Knowledge/Skills Requirements
  • Ability to manage a wide range of finance‑related responsibilities with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines and timelines.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance daily operations and project work in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in MS Office Suite, and experience with general ledger systems.

Travel is minimal; average travel for this position is 5% with some variation based upon the demands of the business imperatives. Travel is for inventory purposes.
