Senior Fund Accounting Manager, Private Equity

Overview

I am partnering with a leading fund administration platform seeking a Senior Fund Accounting Manager. This is a senior, client-facing opportunity for an experienced fund accounting professional looking to manage complex fund structures, oversee key deliverables, and lead high-performing teams within a fast-paced private markets environment.

• Oversee fund accounting operations across multiple venture capital and hybrid investment vehicles
• Manage quarterly closes, capital calls, distributions, NAV reporting, and investor allocations
• Review waterfalls, management fee calculations, and carried interest allocations
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, auditors, and external stakeholders
• Lead, mentor, and develop fund accounting teams
• Support fund launches, SPVs, and process improvement initiatives
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting and investor deliverables

• 7+ years of private markets fund accounting experience
• Strong background in private equity, venture capital, or fund administration
• Experience managing complex fund structures and investor reporting processes
• Strong technical knowledge of fund accounting, allocations, and partnership accounting
• Previous team leadership and client management experience
• CPA preferred
