Senior Accountant, Real Estate Funds - Leading Asset Manager

We are working with a nationally recognized real estate investment platform to hire a Senior REIT Accountant for their Boston-area headquarters. This is a highly visible role within a growing team, responsible for full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial assets. • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial real estate assets
• Maintain general ledger activity, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidations
• Assist with SEC filings and public company reporting requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party property managers and auditors

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• CPA preferred
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency with property accounting systems (Yardi preferred)
• Strong Excel and financial reporting system knowledge (e.g., Workiva, Oracle, etc.)
