Rossel Joy has partnered with a growing nonprofit organization on a new Controller role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in the nonprofit industry, experience supervising accounting staff, and experience supporting the audit.
Responsibilities- Oversee the month-end-close process.
- Support financial analysis work.
- Prepare and review 990 forms.
- Lead the audit preparations with the third party auditors.
- Oversee the completion of payroll.
- Partner with CFO on key strategic financial initiatives.
- Manage and mentor accounting staff.
- 10+ years of accounting and 3+ years of controllership experience.
- Non-profit industry experience.
- Strong understanding on non-profit regulations and compliance.
