The Private Equity Fund Accounting Associate

Responsibilities Include:

Prepare and review daily cash activity, wire transfers, reconciliations, and cash reporting.
Calculate and review capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
Prepare quarterly cash and accrual-based journal entries.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
Support year-end audit and tax reporting processes.
Prepare investor reporting schedules and supporting analyses.
Maintain fund records and assist with finance-related systems and reporting tools.
Partner with internal stakeholders to support ongoing fund operations and special projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in public accounting (Audit preferred) or relevant accounting experience.
Experience with investment management, financial services, private equity, hedge funds, or alternative investments is a plus but not required.
CPA or CPA track preferred.
Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desire to build a long-term career within private equity finance.
