The Controller will oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls while supporting operational leadership in a manufacturing setting. This individual will play a key role in optimizing processes, ensuring compliance, and scaling the finance function alongside company growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all accounting operations including GL, month‑end close, financial reporting, AP/AR, and payroll
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and policies
- Partner with operations and executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Oversee cost accounting and inventory management within a manufacturing environment
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audits
- Manage and mentor accounting staff, building a high‑performing team
- Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
- Support ERP optimization and reporting capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA strongly preferred
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership
- Prior experience in manufacturing required; medical, life sciences, or regulated environment highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory, and financial operations
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
- Proven ability to lead teams and partner cross‑functionally
