Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) has partnered a prominent real estate development and management firm, to identify a Senior Property Accountant. This role is key to ensuring accurate accounting and financial reporting for a diverse property portfolio.

Highlights of the Opportunity:

• Hybrid schedule: 2–3 days per week onsite in downtown Boston

• High-visibility role supporting senior leadership and portfolio managers in a player/coach role

Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of property-level accounting, including monthly close and reconciliations

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP

• Support annual audits, budgets, and forecasts

• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on property performance

• Collaborate with property management and finance teams to improve processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or experience equivalent

• 4+ years of property accounting experience

• Software experience in MRI is preferred;
