About the Role

You’ll act as a key point of contact for clients on international tax matters, overseeing engagement delivery, reviewing complex returns, and supporting foreign reporting compliance. Alongside the technical work, you’ll play an active role in coaching and developing junior staff, and collaborating directly with Partners on strategic client matters.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage engagement teams and oversee deliverables, including tax returns and supporting work papers, carrying out detailed technical and strategic reviews to ensure accuracy, quality, and on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Review complex international, federal, and multi-state returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and individuals
  • Oversee and support foreign reporting obligations, including FBAR and Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 1120-F, and GILTI-related filings
  • Work alongside Partners on tax planning strategy, providing insight on complex client matters
  • Carry out tax research and turn findings into clear, practical guidance and recommendations for clients
  • Help build a collaborative, high-performing team culture
  • Mentor and coach staff, including involvement in training, supervision, and performance feedback
What We’re Looking For
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 4+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting, with a focus on international tax
  • CPA or EA (or actively working towards one) highly preferred
  • Experience with international tax compliance, including Forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, and FBAR reporting
  • Familiarity with U.S. taxation of foreign entities and individuals, including GILTI, Subpart F, and foreign tax credits
  • Ability to research international tax issues and contribute to planning strategies
  • Experience managing client engagements and coordinating across service lines
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with tax technology; experience with CCH Axcess, Sure Prep, and XCM highly preferred
