Forensic Accounting Manager / Senior Manager
TYG is working with a leading global consulting firm that is continuing to grow its Financial Investigations practice across the US.
Our client is seeking experienced forensic accounting and investigations professionals at Manager and Senior Manager level. This is a wide-ranging opportunity covering complex investigations, forensic accounting and regulatory compliance matters across a variety of industries.
Those joining will work closely with experienced senior professionals, lead high-quality client engagements and contribute to the continued development of a growing team. The role will involve:- Planning and managing complex investigations, forensic accounting and regulatory compliance engagements
- Conducting financial analysis, investigative research and internal controls testing
- Leading information-gathering and investigative interviews with relevant stakeholders
- Reviewing the work of junior team members and ensuring consistently high-quality client delivery
- Preparing clear, objective and well-structured reports
- Presenting findings and recommendations directly to clients
- Managing several concurrent engagements and competing priorities
- Developing strong relationships with clients and colleagues across the wider business
- Supporting proposals, strategic initiatives and the continued growth of the practice
- Providing guidance and professional development to junior team members
At Senior Manager level, the role will also involve contributing to new business development, identifying opportunities and helping to grow key client relationships.
Candidate profileOur client is interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- A bachelor’s degree and active US CPA qualification
- At least eight years of relevant investigative, forensic accounting, audit or consulting experience
- Experience gained with a recognized accounting, financial services or specialist consulting firm
- Strong analytical, written communication and presentation skills
- Experience leading projects and managing client relationships
- The ability to balance multiple complex engagements and deliver within demanding timescales
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working across diverse teams
Experience in financial crime, regulatory compliance, monitor ships, ITAR matters or internal and external audit would be particularly valuable. CFF or CFE credentials would also be beneficial but are not essential.
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US citizens, authorized to work in the United States and currently based in the US.
