They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing finance organization. This individual will support commercial accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, and several cross-functional initiatives.
The position is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing complex information, improving processes, and partnering with teams across finance and operations.
Responsibilities
- Support revenue accounting and related reserves, deductions, returns, and customer adjustments.
- Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations for revenue, receivables, deferred balances, and other general ledger accounts.
- Analyze information received from external distribution and operational partners.
- Research discrepancies and assist with resolving customer account issues.
- Support intercompany accounting, cost allocations, and other cross-entity transactions.
- Maintain accurate project and employee time-tracking information used for financial reporting.
- Provide financial data and analysis to support budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist with external audit requests and internal control documentation.
- Ensure accounting activities comply with GAAP and established company policies.
- Partner with colleagues across Accounting, Finance, Operations, and other business functions.
Qualifications
- Approximately 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience with revenue accounting, financial reporting, or operational accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and the month-end close process.
- Experience working within a publicly traded or highly regulated organization is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience using an ERP or other financial systems.
- Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments.
- Life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare experience is a plus.
