Real Estate Corporate Controller - $140-155k + great benefits

Looking to hire an Assistant Corporate Controller for our partner, a vertically integrated real estate developer, investor, and operator with over a half century of success. This is a great opportunity for a bright and motivated Corporate Accountant with experience in the real estate industry and is looking for growth in their career and a home at a company with great benefits.

• Located in Boston, MA with a Hybrid work arrangement
• Base pay range of $140,000 $ 155,000
• Bonus eligibility of approximately 20% based on qualifying factors

• The firm operates across a wide variety of real estate investment holdings

• Someone with experience with consolidations and fair-market value accounting
• Someone comfortable with complex tax structures and packages
• Someone with proficiency with Yardi Investment Manager
• Someone who is willing to speak up and drive change processes, not just ok with the status quo

• 5 - 7 years of relevant corporate accounting experience with some exposure to real estate accounting
• Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Proven experience with consolidation accounting, equity method accounting, partnership structures, ASC 946
• Strong proficiency with Yardi or Yardi IM is highly preferred

• Leading quarterly consolidations and multientity reporting
• Preparing and reviewing of consolidated financial statements, audits, and disclosures
• Supporting real estate investment accounting and fair value considerations across the portfolio
• Driving automation and process improvements
