Fund Accounting Manager

We are partnering with a rapidly growing organization in the investment management industry to identify an experienced Fund Accounting Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing team supporting a diverse portfolio of Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, and Real Estate investment funds.

This position offers significant client interaction, leadership responsibilities, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent long-term growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of investment funds.
  • Oversee quarterly and annual close processes, including NAV calculations and financial statement preparation.
  • Review capital calls, distributions, management fees, carried interest allocations, and waterfall calculations.
  • Prepare and review investor reporting and other client deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fund accounting professionals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational efficiencies.
  • Assist with special projects and support the continued growth of the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of fund accounting experience within Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, Real Estate, or a fund administrator.
  • Previous experience reviewing work and leading or mentoring team members.
  • Strong understanding of investment fund structures, capital activity, and financial reporting.
  • CPA designation is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
