Senior Accountant – Internal Entities

Company Overview

A growing private equity investment firm is hiring a Senior Accountant for their Boston office. The role involves supporting partnership accounting operations within the private equity fund business line.

• Prepare financial statements, capital call and distribution packages, and related reporting to members
• Maintain general ledgers, including adjusting entries, bank reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Prepare various tax reporting deliverables and documentation
• Leverage Excel, accounting software, and CRM portal to streamline and automate processes
• Collaborate with Treasury on cash management and banking activities
• Coordinate and support the year-end audit process for coinvestment and GP entities
• Provide support for automation and process improvement initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business functions

• Bachelor's degree with 3-6 years of experience in a fund accounting role, private equity or financial services experience required
• Partnership or public accounting background preferred
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Allvue fund accounting software preferable
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Solid working knowledge of GAAP accounting

Salary: $115,000 – $125,000, Plus Bonus
