We are partnering with a fast-growing SaaS company in the Greater Boston area who is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This role will play a key part in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and revenue accounting while supporting a collaborative finance team. The company offers an extremely flexible work schedule and an outstanding culture.
Responsibilities- Lead month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts
- Support revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams on financial reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting operations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- SaaS or software industry experience required
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition required
- Strong month-end close and General Ledger experience
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- CPA or CPA-track candidates are a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Compensation: $90K-$110K depending on experience
