Kforce's client, a leading alternative asset manager, is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Associate in Boston, MA to oversee fund accounting, reporting, and operations for private credit vehicles. This role partners closely with deal teams, investor relations, tax, and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fund Accounting & Reporting:
Oversee preparation of quarterly/annual financial statements, review fund administrator deliverables, and maintain daily GL and portfolio accounting entries - Capital & Cash Operations:
Execute capital calls, distributions, and bank reconciliations;
Track interest receipts and portfolio company data - Cross-Functional Support:
Assist Investor Relations with fundraising materials, track performance data, and manage due diligence requests. Work with Tax on estimates and allocations - Audit & Compliance:
Coordinate year-end external audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting standards
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or advanced financial certification is a plus
- 1-4 years of accounting experience focused on partnership structures and investment vehicles;
Public accounting background serving alternative asset or private credit clients is strongly preferred - Strong proficiency in GAAP financial reporting; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite;
Prior experience with fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran) is highly desirable - Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detail
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in preparing reports and presenting to key stakeholders
- Highly driven self-starter with a strong work ethic, proven ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, and a commitment to meeting strict deadlines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
