Salary: $160,000–$180,000

Hybrid days in Boston

• High-impact leadership role reporting directly to the CFO with true ownership of the accounting function

• Ability to build, lead, and shape the accounting team and processes during a key growth phase
• True “number two” role with visibility into strategic decisions and deal activity
• Opportunity to create structure, improve processes, and elevate the overall finance function
• Hybrid schedule with 3 days in office in Boston alongside a collaborative leadership team

• Lead and develop the accounting team, driving accountability, performance, and process improvement
• Oversee financial reporting, including investor and external reporting requirements
• Manage HUD / residential real estate accounting and compliance
• Partner with the CFO on cash flow, financial strategy, and scaling the finance function

• 10+ years of accounting experience within real estate, with residential / HUD
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams
• Experience with financial reporting for external stakeholders and investors
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or Master’s preferred
