Property & Corporate Accountant / Senior

Top Commercial Real Estate company is seeking a Property & Corporate Accountant / Senior to join an established and collaborative team. This role will be hands-on in all property accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting for a set portfolio of properties.

• Perform month-end activities (GL review, journal entries, reconciliations, etc.) for a portfolio of properties
• Contribute to budget/forecast preparation
• Prepare reporting packages and meet all internal reporting deadlines
• Support AP/AR functions; create/code invoices as needed
• Prepare work papers for the annual audit
• Maintain working relationship with property managers
• Ensure accurate US GAAP accounting standards are met
• Play a key role in streamlining processes and new systems
• Support the leadership team with ad-hoc projects as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of real estate/property accounting experience
• Intermediate to advanced Excel; experience with Yardi or MRI
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
