Senior Payroll Associate | Boston, MA

Our client, a leading global private investment firm
, is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Associate to join its established Payroll team in Boston.

This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional to join a sophisticated, fast-paced organization and take ownership of payroll processing for 1,000+ U.S. employees across multiple states.

• Process multi-state bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees using ADP
• Communicate directly with ADP to resolve payroll issues
• Prepare manual and off-cycle payroll payments
• Record payroll activity and reconcile journal entries in Workday
• Manage payroll-related items including fringe benefits, deductions, and 401(k) elections
• Reconcile monthly payroll bank statements
• Serve as a resource for employees regarding payroll questions and issues
• Support annual payroll and corporate audits
• Partner with Finance and HR on payroll-related projects and initiatives
• Assist with various ad hoc payroll and accounting responsibilities

• 5–8 years of payroll experience
• Strong experience with ADP
  , preferably ADP Workforce Now
• Experience with Workday
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience managing multi-state payroll in a complex organization
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance

$90,000–$100,000 base + discretionary annual bonus
