We are seeking a Junior Accountant to support a global nonprofit organization during an ERP conversion and finance transformation initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and code financial transactions and vendor invoices
- Support accounts payable, employee expenses, ACH and wire payments
- Assist with ERP data conversion, data cleanup, and quality control
- Validate general ledger entries, vendor data, and historical transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and AP aging
- Review transactions for proper account and cost-center coding
- Support reporting, audit schedules, and financial documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0–2 years of accounting experience; internships considered
- Basic understanding of accrual accounting and general accounting principles
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and formulas
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience with Net Suite, ERP implementations, data migrations, or nonprofit accounting is preferred but not required.
