Tax Senior - Boutique Public Accounting Firm in Greater Boston

I'm working with a well-established, boutique public accounting firm that has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality tax and accounting services while maintaining a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture.

They're looking to add a Tax Senior to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take on more responsibility, work directly with clients, and continue developing toward a leadership role.

• Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
• Perform tax research and apply tax law to a variety of client situations
• Assist with tax planning strategies for individuals and businesses
• Review federal, state, and local tax notices and draft responses
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior tax staff
• Delegate and oversee work while helping establish expectations and deadlines
• Act as a key point of contact for smaller client engagements
• Work closely with colleagues across the firm on client needs and tax planning
• Assist with training and development of tax and accounting staff
• Participate in firm and department initiatives
• Build relationships with clients, industry contacts, and prospective clients

• 3-4 years of progressive public accounting experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Strong experience with individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Tax research and tax software experience
• CPA license preferred, but not required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Someone who is self-directed, client-focused, and interested in growing into a leadership role

$90K - $110K, depending on experience
