Description Kforce's client is a downtown Boston financial services co. and is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant. The position offers a quick path to supervisor and offers challenging work, as well as a chance to work on a broad variety of business investments.

Responsibilities:
* The Senior Accountant will perform accounting for multiple entities, investments, real estate, significant asset holdings (multiple classes), trusts and other related businesses for an assigned group of clients
* Preparing & reviewing monthly financial statements/reports
* Support external audits
* Preparing & reviewing financial summaries requested by clients
* Month-end reconciliations
* Provide continuous support on improved processes and efficiencies
* Support tax group w/tax work papers
* Various financial projects for clients Requirements
* BS in Accounting
* Public accounting background/CPA desirable
* Minimum 4+ years of general accounting
* Strong Excel and systems aptitude
* Strong work ethic
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type Direct Hire Compensation
