Summary ofEssential Duties and Responsibilities
The Support Services Assistant is responsible for performing all duties in the Mailroom including copy jobs, binding jobs, scanning and distributing all mail, packages and pouches. This role will also include records and file management. The Support Services Assistant is also responsible for ensuring the Office facilities are functional, stocked, and well maintained and for assisting the Office Administrator with various facilities related projects.
Key responsibilities include:
conference room set-up and breakdown for meetings and catered events including room reconfigurations, pantry and kitchen supplies oversight, reception coverage assistance, mail room and copy functions, office moves, and other duties as assigned. Candidate should possess high level of customer care, eagerness to support others, willingness to quickly respond to requests for assistance, and must be motivated and able to work in a busy, fast paced environment.
Hours:
10:00 – 6:00 Monday through Friday, overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year prior experience in facilities related position.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, repeatedly.

Jones Day offers competitive salaries and benefits to all employees. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The starting pay scale for this Boston position is $50,000 - $58,000.
