A top RIA in Boston has a need for a Trust/Sr. Administrator for their team. This position is ideal for someone looking to provide direct and indirect client support for all client account management needs. Working closely with the Firm’s partners and other departments, the Trust Administrator acts as the point person for assigned clients regarding account administration.
Responsibilities- Trust Administrators work with multi-generational families with diverse needs and administer accounts including trusts, IRA’s, investment management accounts and foundations. Ensure that assigned accounts are administered in accordance with their document terms.
- Coordinate account activity, including, but not limited to, receipts and disbursements related to assets and beneficiary needs, opening, funding and closing accounts and facilitating charitable and non-charitable gifts.
- Monitor cash levels in accounts to ensure that all client needs can be met at all times.
- Ensure that inter departmental communication is effective and that all account information is relayed and processed in accordance with established protocols. Coordinate service with other departments: investments, tax and accounting.
- Direct contact with multiple generations of family members in person and via phone, email and video conferencing.
- Support the partners and clients on a range of subjects including financial, personal, and estate planning matters.
- Assume additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least three years’ experience of Trust Administration working with high net worth clients required
- Working knowledge of Fiduciary, Gift, Income, Estate & GST Taxes
- Detail oriented, flexible, ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Trust Accounting Software and other computer programs
Compensation: $100K-$115K + bonus and GREAT benefits
