Administrative Assistant Job in Boston, MA

Sigma Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Training Department of our client, the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS), located in Boston, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong administrative, data entry, and office support experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced professional environment.

The Training Department is preparing to onboard approximately 100 new employees, and the Administrative Assistant will play a key role in supporting training preparation, documentation management, and administrative operations.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain records in Microsoft Excel.
  • Assist with onboarding and training preparation for new employees.
  • Copy, scan, organize, and distribute training materials and documents.
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Support day-to-day administrative operations within the Training Department.
  • Prepare and organize training packets and related materials.
  • Assist with document management and recordkeeping.
  • Provide general office support and administrative assistance as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive information.
  • Support departmental projects and special assignments.
Administrative Assistant Requirements
  • Previous experience in an Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, Clerical Assistant, Data Entry Clerk, or related role.
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to copy, scan, file, and manage large volumes of documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work independently.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting training, onboarding, HR, or administrative departments.
  • Experience working in government, legal, education, or public-sector environments.
  • Familiarity with document management and records administration.
