Certifix Live Scan and Post Scan Mail are seeking a reliable, customer-focused team member to join our Boston office. This position combines customer support, fingerprinting services, and mail processing operations in a professional office environment.

The primary focus of this role is assisting nationwide Certifix applicants over the phone and by email with fingerprinting and background check services. In addition, this team member will assist local customers in-office with fingerprinting appointments and help process incoming mail for Post Scan Mail customers.

We are looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, comfortable speaking with customers, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide customer support by phone and email for Certifix applicants nationwide
  • Assist customers with fingerprinting service questions, appointments, and application support
  • Perform in-office fingerprinting services for local customers
  • Process incoming mail and packages for Post Scan Mail customers
  • Scan and upload mail items into the Post Scan Mail system
  • Assist with mail forwarding, shredding, and customer pickup requests
  • Maintain accurate records and customer information
  • Provide a professional and welcoming experience for office visitors
  • Support general office operations and administrative tasks
  • Qualifications
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable answering phones and assisting customers throughout the day
  • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Basic computer and email skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Previous customer service or office experience preferred
  • Fingerprinting or shipping/mail center experience is a plus, but training will be provided
  • Position Details
  • Full-time (40 hours) or part-time (20-25 hours) opportunities available
  • $18-$20 per hour
  • Located at our Boston office
