Job Summary
Provides general administrative and operation support to the Practice Manager. Performs a variety of tasks specifically aimed toward the organizational mission which include but not limited to: general administrative support, project coordination, monthly metrics reports, approving payroll, report generation, training new hires, and process implementation. Also steps in to be Acting Manager in the event a Practice Manager is out for an extended period of time.
EssentialFunctions
- Coordinates and manages daily administrative and operational activities to support clinical departments.
- Covers and supports various sites' operations when Practice Manager vacancies occur.
- Monitors workflows and identifies opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and patient care.
- Serves as a liaison between clinical staff, administrative teams, and leadership to ensure seamless communication.
- Ensures compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.
- Manages scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics to support departmental needs at various site locations.
- Provides training and support to staff to ensure adherence to procedures and protocols.
- Develops and maintains accurate records, reports, and documentation related to operations.
- Resolves operational issues and escalates complex matters to leadership when necessary.
- Supports special projects as assigned across sites, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to implement new initiatives and support organizational goals.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience operating in an administrative capacity and/or work involving administrative project coordination. Strong organizational skills a must. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required. Excellent communication skills (verbal/written), ability to work with a team and independently. Healthcare background preferred.
