Administrative Assistant
- Office Support

We are currently seeking candidates for an Administrative Assistant
- Office Support opportunity at a highly successful telecommunication company located in Boston, MA. The Administrative Assistant
- Office Support will be responsible for supporting office operations, including managing reception, handling internal and external communications, overseeing office equipment and office supplies, and managing vendor relations. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of experience in an office administrator, office assistant, or office coordinator role in professional services.

This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, paying between $26-$28/hour (depending on experience).

This role supports a hybrid work model, consisting of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee reception responsibilities, including welcoming guests and answering calls
  • Organize and maintain common areas to ensure tidiness and preparedness
  • Manage and restock office supplies, office equipment, and kitchen inventory
  • Maintain vendor relationships
  • Assist with invoice processes
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail to appropriate parties
  • Work closely with senior team members
  • Handle event planning and meeting coordination
  • Provide additional support as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2+ years of experience in an office administrator, office assistant, or office coordinator role in professional services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and evolving needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Previous experience with accounting software (a plus but not required)
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive team player
