About the Position
The Program Operations Specialist helps facilitate internal processes within the Program Operations team, ensuring that administrative elements associated with student organization recognition and resources are maintained. The role manages the Engage/Campus Groups student organization platform for the CSI team and recognized student organizations, supports the New Student Organization Recognition Process, and oversees the bi‑annual registration process for all recognized student organizations.
Responsibilities- Facilitate internal processes within the Program Operations team.
- Maintain administrative elements associated with student organization recognition and resources.
- Manage the Engage/Campus Groups student organization platform for the CSI team and recognized student organizations.
- Support the New Student Organization Recognition Process by reviewing applications, mentoring applicants, and advising the Student Organization Approvals Board and the VP of Student Affairs.
- Serve as Program Manager for organizations with Tentative and Preliminary Recognition status, ensuring they understand CSI and university‑wide policies, protocols, and expectations.
- Support operations of the Student Organization Suite in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Program Operations.
- Manage administrative tasks, including event space reservations, inventory of program/event materials, and distribution of rental items.
- Handle student organization mail, package management, and storage space/locker reservation processes.
- Coordinate student organization consultants to provide engagement opportunities.
- Identify and implement methods that enhance customer service, operational efficiency, and co‑curricular opportunities for student engagement.
- Report to the Assistant Director of Program Operations for Recognition and Resources.
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- 1+ year(s) of experience in a customer service related field (desired).
- Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or a related field (desired).
- 1+ year(s) of experience working with college students or project management experience as a student or professional (desired).
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and equitable environment.
- Demonstrated history of systemic and logical thinking with a focus on customer service.

Expected Hiring Range: $48,610.00 - $66,838.75
