Assistant Office Manager

We are currently seeking candidates for an Assistant Office Manager role with a leading telecommunications company located in Boston, MA. The Assistant Office Manager will support daily office operations, serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees, and help maintain a professional and organized office environment. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of office administration (internships included), office management, or reception experience.

Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.

This is a 6-month contract position paying $25–$28 per hour (depending on experience).

This role supports a hybrid work model, consisting of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Boston, Massachusetts, 3 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming calls.
  • Greet and assist visitors and guests.
  • Maintain conference rooms, kitchens, and common areas.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and vendor requests.
  • Order and track office supplies.
  • Manage mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Assist with meetings, events, and board activities.
  • Provide administrative support to leadership as needed.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to employees and visitors.
  • Provide additional support as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–2+ years of office administration, office management, or reception experience (internships included).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a professional office environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with Oracle is a plus.
