A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Executive Assistant (LEA) to support attorneys by managing day to day operations of their practice. This role serves as a trusted business partner, ensuring attorneys can focus on client relationships and practice development while maintaining efficiency, organization, and high quality work product.

Location:

multiple major U.S. markets.

Schedule:

hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage attorney workflows, projects, & deadlines to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
  • Act as a liaison between attorneys, clients & internal teams, handling communications & inquiries with professionalism and discretion
  • Coordinate & oversee assignments to support staff, ensuring quality control & successful project outcomes
  • Draft, proofread & finalize legal documents, correspondence & presentations
  • Support research efforts & assist with case preparation and executive briefings
  • Oversee meeting logistics including scheduling, agenda preparation & materials coordination
  • Manage complex calendars, resolve scheduling conflicts & coordinate travel arrangements
  • Handle billing processes, including pre‑bills, approvals, and client invoicing follow‑up
  • Maintain records & support information governance, ensuring compliance with internal policies & procedures
  • Collaborate across teams and provide mentorship & guidance to support staff as needed
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality handling sensitive legal matters
  • In‑depth understanding of legal processes, procedures, and documentation
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, clients, and cross‑functional teams
  • Comfortable working under pressure while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and commitment to continuous development
Technical Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with legal research tools and case management systems
  • Familiarity with billing and accounting software within a legal environment
  • Comfortable using third‑party and emerging technologies, including AI‑powered tools for document production and research
  • Experience with virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technology updates
