Part-Time Support Staff | Student Central Position Summary

This position provides BHCC students with a high level of service as they navigate the enrollment, payment, and financial aid processes. Support Staff assist students in understanding and accessing the tools and resources available to them at every stage of their academic journey.

• Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• Navigation of student aid.gov and BHCC's Self‑Service portal and its features
• Ordering of official transcripts, MBTA passes, parking permits, and tax documents
• Submission of the BHCC Student Health Insurance Waiver
• Establishment of refund preferences through Bank Mobile

• Associate's degree preferred
• Strong computer and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with data entry and digital record-keeping preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and collaboration
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity when working with diverse student populations
• Final candidate will undergo Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) background screenings in accordance with state regulations.

• Salary: $23.00 per hour | Up to 18.5 hours per week. Part‑Time Non‑Benefited position.
