Sigma Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join our team in Boston, MA. This onsite contract opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong data entry, administrative support, front desk, and office operations experience. If you have excellent keyboarding accuracy, strong organizational skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced office environment, we'd like to hear from you.

This role combines high-volume data entry, front desk reception, document processing, electronic file management, mail handling, and administrative support while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-volume data entry with a target of 10,000+ keystrokes per hour while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
  • Welcome visitors and provide professional front desk reception services.
  • Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Complete basic enrollment documents and I-9 forms.
  • Enter and update information into computer databases and electronic systems.
  • Create, edit, format, and produce documents, correspondence, labels, envelopes, and form letters.
  • Manage electronic files by printing, copying, scanning, transferring, organizing, and deleting files as required.
  • Review entered data to identify and correct errors.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations when processing information.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and other database applications to maintain accurate records.
  • Operate standard office equipment including photocopiers, scanners, fax machines, printers, and binding equipment.
  • Follow established procedures while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Support daily administrative operations and other office duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous data entry, administrative, clerical, or office support experience.
  • Ability to perform 10,000+ keystrokes per hour with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience with electronic document management and database entry.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Basic computer and keyboarding proficiency.
  • Ability to detect and correct data entry errors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced office environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous front desk or receptionist experience.
  • Experience handling confidential records and documentation.
  • Knowledge of enrollment processing or I-9 documentation.
  • Experience with document formatting and electronic file management.
  • Familiarity with office databases and administrative software.
