Legal Secretary

As part of the Global Operations Team – all business professionals at the firm – you’ll collaborate with colleagues from varied backgrounds and experiences to deliver cutting‑edge solutions in high‑stakes litigation, regulatory compliance, and complex transactions.
WhatYou Will Do
- Manage complex calendars, arrange meetings, and coordinate travel for attorneys, paralegals and business leaders.
- Oversee all communication modalities – calls, emails, hard‑copy mail – ensuring timely handling.
- Prepare and process expense reports and check requests with accurate documentation.
- Provide backup support to other secretaries, including absence coverage and overflow tasks.
- Proofread and edit legal documents, correspondence, memos, and other communications for accuracy and clarity.
- Assist with preparation, management, and distribution of audit response letters.
- Maintain organized, up‑to‑date client and administrative files in the firm’s electronic document management system.
- Open new client or matter numbers, perform conflict checks, and prepare engagement letters for signing through Docu Sign.
- Facilitate time entry for attorneys and paralegals, including input, review, edit, and release of time.
- Support the billing process by tracking billing deadlines and circulating pré‑bills for review.
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; professional and articulate.
- Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.

This position is eligible for overtime:

$72,000.00 – $92,000.00, varies by location and is commensurate with relevant experience.
