Job Summary

Site:
The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. Mass General Brigham. MGB is hiring a Student Intern to support the International Patient Center, assisting international patients across our MGB population.

Responsibilities

Triage incoming inquiries in various mediums, while providing assistance to walk‑ins and telephone inquiries.

Meet and greet patients and their families, providing individualized attention to patients’ needs.

Perform patient registration, ensuring accuracy of international demographics and financial data elements in the Hospital registration systems.

Assist with special projects, including research and collecting data and interviews regarding national and international health providers.

Assist with data analysis for metrics.

Send out routine communication emails regarding visitors.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Student
- Currently enrolled in high school.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to assist both internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and sustain relationships with colleagues.
- Multi‑tasking with strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to protect the privacy of individuals and confidentiality of employee information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to remain flexible to handle and prioritize work from various department staff.
College Student
- High school diploma completed.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (ideally a rising sophomore or above in a BA/BS program).
- Same skill requirements as High School Student.

Additional Information

Working Model: M-F 8am-5pm Eastern Business Hours; minimum 12 hours per week, preferred 30‑40 hours per week.

Work Location:

75 Francis Street (Onsite).

Pay Range: $17.71 – $24.28 per hour.
