As a vital member of our clinical operations team, you’ll provide administrative support to ensure our practice runs smoothly and efficiently. The Senior Practice Assistant provides advanced administrative support to ensure efficient clinical practice operations under minimal supervision. This role serves as a key resource for scheduling, registration, billing, and patient service processes while supporting daily office operations and staff.
What You'll Do:
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment records.
- Assist callers with inquiries and coordinate appointments.
- Process billing forms and scan documents into patient medical records (LMR).
- Serve as a Super User for scheduling, registration, and billing systems, providing guidance and training
- Perform advanced scheduling functions, including surgical scheduling and schedule management.
- Provide functional guidance to Office and Practice Assistants.
- Support the Supervisor in overseeing daily practice operations.
- Handle messages related to prior authorizations, provider inquiries, prescription refills, and test results.
- Collect patient co-payments as needed.
