Join our Student Academic Services team and play a vital role in supporting students throughout their academic journey. As the first point of contact for our busy advising office, you'll welcome students, faculty, staff, parents, and University partners while providing exceptional administrative and operational support.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys balancing customer service with complex administrative responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a high-volume undergraduate advising office, providing courteous, accurate, and timely assistance to students, faculty, staff, parents, and University partners.
  • Coordinate appointments and correspondence for academic leadership, advisors, and graduation officers while managing daily front desk operations.
  • Process and maintain a variety of student academic records, including transfer credit evaluations, graduation applications, major and minor declarations, petitions, AP credit, and other academic transactions.
  • Manage office workflows and ensure the accurate processing of student information across multiple University systems.
  • Coordinate special projects, including orientation support, academic communications, publications, and initiatives that support student success.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise student employees to support the daily operations of the office.
  • Respond thoughtfully to sensitive and time-sensitive student situations, triaging concerns and connecting individuals with the appropriate campus resources.

What We're Looking For:

  • Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One to three years of administrative, customer service, or higher education experience.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, parents, and University leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion when handling confidential information and sensitive student matters.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and navigate multiple University systems.

Why Join Our Team? This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the student experience while working in a collaborative, student-centered environment. Every day brings new opportunities to solve problems, support student success, and contribute to the mission of the College through excellent service and teamwork.

Two years of college or equivalent, bachelor's preferred, a high degree of professionalism, strong customer service and communication skills, and one to three years of experience. This position is 35 hours per week.
