The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Type:

This position provides administrative support to the Mechanical Engineering Department, and is the first point of contact for guests, visitors, students, faculty, and staff who visit, or call the department. The position oversees the daily operational aspects of running the department, while ensuring the big picture objectives and goals are supported in their efforts, including support related to the Director and Chair's vision.

This position will be directly supporting events, seminars, and meetings, including associated logistics i.e. space reservations, catering, AV equipment needs. This position provides support to the department's academic and finance team and projects assigned by the Department Director and Chair.
