Senior Program Coordinator – Office of the University Registrar

The Office of the University Registrar is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator. Reporting to the Senior Assistant Registrar, this role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of student records and compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.

The Senior Program Coordinator will support multiple areas within the Office of the University Registrar, including enrollment, registration, graduation, records integrity, academic scheduling, and reporting. This position will cross-train across related organizational areas to provide support during peak periods.

The Senior Program Coordinator works independently while managing priorities, resolving complex issues, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring accuracy of academic records.

Essential Functions:
  • Update academic records within the student information system based on approved documentation and authorization.
  • Maintain student records, including student demographics, academic programs, course adds/drops, leave of absence/withdrawals, and grades.
  • Process email communications and workflow ticket requests for areas within the Office of the University Registrar.
  • Interpret and apply university policies, procedures, and regulations to resolve complex student and administrative issues.
  • Process transcript requests and respond to transcript-related inquiries.
  • Research, audit, and maintain historical records for transcript production and student record accuracy.
  • Process degree conferral and graduation applications for students.
  • Communicate with students, advisors, department chairs, deans, directors, and university staff to evaluate student records and completion requirements.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues from students and university stakeholders.
  • Maintain confidential academic records in compliance with FERPA and university procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the Office of the University Registrar.
