A leading global law firm is seeking a Practice Assistant to support a dynamic group of attorneys in its Boston office. What you'll do- Prepare, format, revise, and finalize legal documents, correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office and document management tools.
- Process conflict checks, submit expense reports, manage attorney time entries, schedule meetings and travel, and maintain calendars.
- Conduct research, coordinate conference calls, and support document filing through the firm's systems.
- Build strong working relationships across teams — Accounting, General Services, Reprographics — to ensure seamless support.
- Maintain paper and electronic files in compliance with firm policy, keeping information accurate and accessible.
- Anticipate attorney and team needs, proactively stepping in to deliver client-service excellence.
- A minimum of 1 year of legal administrative support experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook and basic Excel;
Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint a plus. - Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- A client-service mindset with strong written and verbal communication.
