Senior Administrative Assistant (A1474247AG) Boston, Massachusetts
Salary: USD
35 - USD
38 per hour
This Administrative Assistant opportunity offers $35-$38/hour and is based in Boston, MA with a hybrid schedule (Monday through Thursday onsite, Friday remote). The role is with a global investment management/financial services organization and supports senior leaders within the business. The assignment is expected to run 6+ months
, starting 9/21
, with potential for future opportunities. Standard hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch) or 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch).
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support including calendar management, phone coverage, correspondence, meeting notes, expense reporting, invoice processing, subscriptions, and contract tracking.
- Coordinate meetings, team events, onsite activities, and department outings.
- Arrange domestic and international travel.
- Interact professionally with employees across all levels of the organization.
- Handle confidential and time-sensitive information with discretion.
- Track tasks and support major projects and departmental initiatives.
- Provide backup support to other administrative assistants and reception functions as needed.
- Assist with presentations, meeting materials, and follow-up activities.
Qualifications:
- Corporate administrative or professional office experience preferred.
- College degree and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and leadership levels.
- Strong project coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment handling confidential information.
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support a variety of administrative functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
